I'm constantly looking at new methods of teaching, and stumbled upon something really interesting. I found an online program called 'Gemiini", based on the discrete video modelling method. This programs helps increase language abilities, as well as reading and social skills for children with autism, down syndrome, strokes, and others. I have even watched a short video on how it helped a child with apraxia. By participating in online video sessions, children are able to focus on one concept at a time and have a break down of each concept.
